Paras joined BMO Nesbitt Burns in 2001. He has 18 years experience in the telecommunications industry in operating, investing and analysis roles. He spent 14 years with Nortel, in engineering, marketing, general management and business development roles. In addition to Nortel, he worked briefly for Softbank, Deezel Investments and another investment bank. He has worked in North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia . The 2004 Brendan Wood survey ranked Paras in the top five on an individual basis and our High Tech Hardware team ranked number one. Paras holds an engineering degree from the University of Toronto (1983) and an MBA from the Wharton School , University of Pennsylvania (1991).
